---- Lucifer reaches for the cup of coffee in front of him. It's still warm in his fingers. He brings it to his lips and takes a long sip. If he were to reach forward and touch the dark red liquid painting the other tables and walls, he knows that too would still be warm. They were nice people too, it's a shame he needed to get rid of them. He licks his lips and doesn't look up when the door opens. He didn't bother hiding the bodies or cleaning up. His visitor knew he was here. The omens of his presence were hard to miss is someone knew were to look.

Mistakes || Closed Rp

It had been a hectic day for Ryan all around; the dress for her cousin's wedding wasn't ready, the shoes had broken a heel, and she had hadn't eaten yet. Walking into a local cafe, she took a deep breath of the aromas, and smiled gratefully.

She looked down at the small countdown timer on her arm: she never paid attention to the thing anymore, but now it was going hectic. She frowned, and pulled the sleeve of her shirt down to cover it.

Walking up to the counter, she bumped into another woman; that's what she got for not paying attention, though.

"Oh, I'm so sorry."

And that's when she heard the beep.
