daddy, daddy be ashamed, daddy, daddy, it swirls down the drain...
"What the fuck was that? Freaky brats these days I swear... What did you want? You're wasting my time, now hurry up before my patience is lost."

Truly he was unsure of why the forest brought him solace. There was something about the distant rustle of leaves and the periodic chirp of birds flying through the air, thick with the scent of dirt and grass. It was though staying here in the forest was his innate calling-- as though he were created to live somewhere like it. But-- having been brought up in civilization --he wouldn’t dare leave the people he had pledged his allegiance to. Though every once in a while, he’d come visit the forest and just wander. Maybe practice the art of wielding various weapons.
And after all of that, he’d take a quick nap; that too, was in his nature.
Following a long hour of practice, Link plopped himself down on the soft grass and leaned his back against the thick trunk of a nearby tree. This kind of peace and quiet he couldn’t find anywhere and he was determined to get in a wink of sleep here if not in his own quarters. Slowly his eyes shut ... and soon he found himself settling into a dream, completely unaware of the crunch of grass not too far away from him.
