Inspiration from Quran, Surah Fussilet ayats 30-36 ♥

There are 3 deeds whose reward will not be weighed on the scale on the Day of Judgement. Rather, their infinite measure will be given by Allah (SWT) on that Day, and how Glorious and Generous is He. Reflect upon these ayahs and hadith:

1. “...those who patiently persevere will truly receive a reward without measure!” [Surat Az-Zumar: 10]

2. “...but whoever forgives and makes reconciliation, his reward is due from Allah…” [Surat Ash-Shūraá: 40]

3. Abu Hurairah (rA) relates that the Prophet ﷺ said: “Allah, the Lord of Honor and Glory says: All other deeds of man are for himself, but his fasting is purely for Me and I shall reward him for it...” (Bukhari and Muslim)

Allah, the Most High, says:

"... had you been harsh [in speech] and *hardhearted*, they would have dispersed and left you." [Surat Ali `Imran: 159]

A Reflection: In order to win over people's hearts, it is not sufficient for our words to be soft. Our hearts must be merciful also.

Allah, the Most High, says: "...He brings the living out of the dead..." [Surat al-An`am: 95]

A Reflection: He is Most Able to make something come out from its opposite. Your sadness can give birth to joy, your pain can bring forth ease, and riches can flow out from poverty...

If you ever have a desire to sin, remember these three verses:

1. "Does he not realize that Allah sees all?" [Surat al-`Alaq: 14]

2. "For those who fear [the time when they will] stand before their Lord there are two gardens." [Surat al-Rahman: 46]

3. "... Allah will make a way out for those who are mindful of Him." [Surat al-Talaq: 2]
