so my friend was telling me she had a bad dream last night where someone kept taking stuff from her and she goes, with a dramatic pause, "i think it was my pizza" i laughed for like 5 minutes straight

The story of my friend's short love affair with candles
my friend loves candles. but she only loves them during power outages. when the power went out during the hurricane she went around lighting every candle we owned, even during the day. i swear there were like 20 different scents in the house at one time. and as soon as the power came back on she pretty much forgot about the candles.
now she randomly lights the color changing candles. as if to remember the lost flame they once shared.
