The story of my friend's short love affair with candles

my friend loves candles. but she only loves them during power outages. when the power went out during the hurricane she went around lighting every candle we owned, even during the day. i swear there were like 20 different scents in the house at one time. and as soon as the power came back on she pretty much forgot about the candles.

now she randomly lights the color changing candles. as if to remember the lost flame they once shared.

Dear Jess, I miss you so much. We haven't been friends long so you may be just figuring this out, but I go through phases where I get really unsocial and I don't sign on skype and I really just keep to myself. Give me a few days and I'll be back on skype and talking to you like I never left. You are one of my best friends regardless of whether or not we talk every day. You're the nicest, dumbest, funniest person I know and I always have a good time when you're around. I love you to the moon and back and I sincerely hope with everything in me that you never, ever doubt that.

I don't really have much of an opinion on you tbh. Mostly bc we never talk but sometimes I see you on the dash and for the most part you seem pretty chill. Other times I kind of don't pay attention so I can't really say until we talk.
