Toa Aymaya, a Toa of Psionics in the Great Culling Alternate Universe.
Toa Aymaya wore a Great Mask of Clairvoyance, which allowed her to see into the future to some extent. During a prolonged battle, her mask was damaged in such a way that its powers were transferred directly to Aymaya, which then proceeded to malfunction horribly, cursing her with nightmarish visions of her own death, the deaths of her friends, and those of anyone else she had met. Driven to the brink of madness, Aymaya went into a self-imposed exile, traveling the Matoran Universe for a panacea for her troubles. During these travels, she came across the disembodied spirit of the Great Being Yaaga, who offered her a solution: She would meld her spirit and mind with that of Aymaya’s, using her power to bring order to her chaotic and disturbing visions, and unlocking her true potential that she might use it for good. Aymaya, desperate for a solution, agreed. The fusion fundamentally altered Aymaya’s colour and body, and now she wanders the Matoran Universe, offering her services to those who need it most, no longer a Toa, but something stranger. She has since discarded her old mask, and now wears a powerless one. Not even Mata Nui can claim to know what goes on in the conjoined minds of this enigmatic being.
Yaaga/Aymaya here uses a torso build by Vorred, but the rest is custom built. She started out with the head design, and everything sort of followed from there. The scythe was a last minute decision, and I think it looks good.
Her design is intentionally meant to invoke images of angels or spirits, and I gave her a faceless design to make her a little alien looking. I’m not sure how I feel about the hair right now, though. It might be subject to change in the future.
