Since Canon!Baby Riliane was seemingly a sweet girl with a selfish side, I like to think in the Opposite AU, Riliane was a spoiled girl with a sweet side. She would always throw tantrums with her family, but be an angel around the servants. Alexiel despised her for it, he hated her “deception” (even tho they were like six like relax bro). I think Arth choosing her as his heir was the final straw for him.
As for Ayn Junior, he doesn’t meet Michaela until after he dies. Growing up, Clarith told him he had a father who died in the Green Hunting (because how would you tell a little boy he was born out of a blood ritual by two women??). I think Ayn would’ve seen a ghostly figure every now and then, but he never had the bravery to follow it or interact with it. The Millennium Tree always comforted him, though. He always went there when he got bullied.
