I see you doing an ask game so i had to stalk your blog for it. And also because I miss you. So numbers 2 (I’m hoping you’ll say you’re a wizard) and 26 if you please.

2. If you had to give up your keyboard and write your stories exclusively by hand, could you do it? If you already write everything by hand, a) are you a wizard and b) pen or pencil?

Lol I am not THAT kind of a wizard, and I do write a lot by hand because I find that creatively it is looser, so concepts are non-linear and I draw/write spider charts and diagrams until I go "huh, that's it!" and then type it all up. I reckon I could write exclusively by hand (pen) but I would have to rewrite the story several times until I was satisfied and (reasonably) error free!

26. How do you get into your character’s head? How do you get out? Do you ever regret going in there in the first place?

Great question!!! Music is super helpful for this - I often try to embody the mood of the character before the character itself because I find that easier. I do have character cheat sheets I write which basically give me the likes and dislikes, obsessions and desires, fears and quirks, how they interact with others and any nick-names, catch-phrases, weird things of note. Certain characters I find it really easy to get in the headspace of both Betty and Jughead (esp in Inevitability and Summer Shivers), I found really easy. I found Veronica really easy in Inevitability, and JB super fun in Summer Shivers. Jughead in Undue Influence is A LOT but I LOVE him. He is a slippery biscuit and I find myself spiralling with him a bit, but that's part of the fun, being swept away by the emotional response. I never regret going there and sometimes I think I could go further. I get out by switching stories, characters, playlists, or exercising! Breaking the emotional hold is the first step and then I can slide into something else!

Hey! How are you? Hope youre doing well. I read the entire Strings attached last night and I love it! I had to stay up late but losing a few hours of sleep for work is so worth it. I think about her too! In my head she’s annoyed at me because I haven’t started writing part 2 yet 😂

Though, season 5 has given me some great fbi edits coupled with some batshit writing, which makes me want to write her a lot more… so maybe I’ll start thinking about her a lot more :)

Chapter 31 🥺 we’re really coming to an end. I haven’t the time to read it yet but I just want you to know that I am so in awe of your talent. I’m excited to read the chapter, is it your fave? So i’m gonna wait til my comprehension level is at 100% again, i’m gonna pass out soon. Lol i’m gonna eat that baby up, chew it well and digest it. I love you Georgie!

Oh! Today’s THE Sunday! Happy birthday Georgie. I wish the flowers would bloom and trees bow down to acknowledge the fact that a great person is passing by them.
