Ok mobile tumblr won't let me get to the character page. So wonderful characters, here I ask. What is your favourite food when sick? To any or all of thee!
My father used to make me mashed potatoes when I was sick. And herbal tea. And lots of vegetables, of course!- Aduri
I prefer soups to Anders’ potions. They taste terrible, it’s simply not worth it. But I think it’s all about willpower to march through the sickness. But, yeah soups are good too.- Leavin Hawke
I really can’t answer that, beacuse I never get sick. If I did feel the sickness rising, I’d make a strong potion and I’d be perfectly fine the next day.- Samahl
I eat all kinds of fruits and also cookies if I am able.- Aysun Girard
Whatever I eat normally. Except if I’m sick to the stomach. Also I’ll drink any potion or booze that supposed to help.- M1 (it’s Meraad btw)
I drink whatever Samahl gives me. They taste like bronto piss, but they work quickly. But normally I like salty food, most kinds of meat and I don’t mind spices at all. The hotter, the better.- Varlin
One of my sisters usually insists that I stay in bed at least for a day and drink lots of tea. She would also make me some food, mostly from vegetables. - Ercan
Back in our mansion, the cook used to make me this soup with pasta and vegetables. It’s delecious at first, but after four days I would eat anything except for that soup. Now whenever I taste it, all that comes to my mind is when I was lying in bed with a terrible cold. - Yael Mountell
ASK MY OCs! - Adress one of them or me and you’ll get your answer!
Dear Aysun, do you think your life would be completely different, if you weren't a mage? (Other than the Circle of course) Do you like being a mage? Would you like to get rid of your magic, if you can?
Dear moonlightvelvet,
My life would be very different if I wasn’t a mage. Although it is very hard to imagine such thing. It doesn’t really matter whether I like what I am or not. This is cruel reality and I have to live with it. So, no… I don’t like it, but also I don’t know anything else.
If there was a way to… get rid of my magic somehow without becoming Tranquil or faring an even worse fate than that… I’m not sure. Even if I suddenly became a normal person, I wouldn’t have anywhere to go, and no way to defend myself. However, if I could start my life all over without magic, I would definitely do it.
I hope your questions are answered,Aysun Girard

Nininaelle Lavellan loves everything sweet. Cakes and patisseries but more "down to earth" things than frilly cakes. you get her with muffins, applepie and lemon cake.
Aysun likes sweet things as well :) Sometimes when she was back in the Circle, they gave them little cupcakes, full of chocolate and she loved those. She always smuggled some out of the dinig room, took them to her room and ate it alone. It was like a ritual for her. Seperating the small good things from everything bad. Her love or rather need of chocolate may have something to do with her depression.
Thanks for sharing :)
Tell me a fact about your OC and I will respond with a semi-related fact about mine.
Ask you about your OCs? I think I can do that. Who did each of them romance? Why did they romance that person? What are their personalities like? What was their childhood like? What do each of them believe (Maker, elven gods, ect)? What plans do they have for the future? Do they live 'happily ever after'? What's their relationship like with their family? Anything else you would like to share? Is this enough questions? :)
Someone has been very helpful here… :D First I’d like to answer the easiest one:
Is this enough questions?Yes.
Aduri Tabris
Who did she romance and why? She romanced Zevran. First she liked his sense of humor and she really enjoyed his style, I guess. Then they started talking about things, and she tought he was a very interesting person… He had some pretty weird and terrible stories to tell, and being an assassin, well it’s not the most nurturing enviroment. So she was curious. First she couldn’t figure him out, but she could sense that there’s something more to him, and she wanted to what. She wanted to know what he’s really like. And eventually she did, but I guess this is how it all started.
What is her personality like? She’s very patient. She always tries to have faith in people, and see the best of them, but she isn’t naive at all, she knows exactly how bad the world can be. She cares about people, especially her friends and family. She likes helping, or rather being useful and a valuable person, she kinda has to feel that people need her. If she doesn’t have that, she’ll probably feel like she lost her purpose. She likes laughing, noticing the beautiful things in the world, in people, in everything. And she’s always trying to be a better person, which isn’t easy even for a person with such a kind heart, and she always knows that she could do better.
What was her chilhood like, what’s her relationship like with her family? She lived in the Alienage in Denerim, with her parents. When she was little her mother talked about the Maker sometimes, that they were His children and how He turned away from them, and they have to be good, so He’ll come back. She was inspired by this thought as a kid. Her mother taught her how to fight, but then when Aduri was a teenager, she died. Aduri had a pretty rough half a year (obviously more than that) but then she started thinking a lot about the Maker and the Chant of Light. You know there’s the tree in the middle of the Alienage, I’m pretty sure she liked that tree. She had a bunch of friends, I mean she kinda knew everyone in the Alienage. So her childhood wasn’t terrible, but they didn’t live the easiest life, and she learned how to notice the good side of things pretty early. She loved her parents very much, after her mother died, she did have a few months of depression, but then she could be there for her father. Her father can cook pretty well, and he taught her how to cook. She visits him whenever she’s back in Denerim.
What does she believe in?By now it’s pretty obvious that she’s an Andrastian. Not that one hwo always prays in the Chantry and knows all the rules about everything, but the one who understands a good message from the Chant of Light and tries to follow that message as best as she can. She doesn’t claim that she knows much about the Maker, but she’s still wiser than certain chantry sisters. Also, when Leliana tells her how she believes that the Maker is here with them, she mostly agrees with it.
What plans does she have for the future, does she live happily ever after?Well, after the Blight she does want to do her part and help the Wardens or King Alistair, but she doesn’t want to get stuck with the Grey Wardens, so if they offer her to be Warden Commnder or something, she’ll most likely trun them down. But she really wants to visit Antiva. Very headcanon time. She actually goes to Antiva with Zevran, and then all sorts of weird things happen and they go to the Circle of Antiva City and there they meet some people, and idk what happens after, but the point is me and Móni are writing a story about this :D But yes I want them to have a happy ending. I want them to be safe and together and what not. Also she won’t have children becase of the taint.
Leavin Hawke
Who did she romance and why?Fenris and first of all because she was very attracted to him, she thought he was handsome, and kinda intriguing. She liked the way he handled the empty chest quest, she thought it was smart of him. So she was interested in this guy and I’m pretty sure she started pestering him a bit, trying to get to know him just a little bit better than he wanted her to. After she considered him a friend, he became very important for her as every other companion, and then plot points happened and they slept together ummm am I getting tired here? yes I think I am sorry
What is her personality like? She’s very sarcastic, and loves people who have a great sense of humor. She’s very loyal to her friends and family, but doesn’t care too much about other people. She’s not afraid to break the rules or find a way around them. Usually she won’t do things if she won’t get anything out of it, but she would do almost anything for her friends. She doesn’t judge people because of what they are. She doesn’t care of you’re a mage, a templar, a thief, a noble, a chantry sister or a qunari. She knows that there are good and bad people everywhere, and she knows that probably everyone is both, it depends who you’re asking.
What was her chilhood like, what’s her relationship like with her family?I’m sure that she got into trouble all the time. I think she liked to go and play with the other kids in Lothering, but she didn’t have many real friends who were actually important to her. She liked living there, though sometimes the weather was a bit more rough than she would have liked it. When they found out that Bethany was a mage, she was proud of her, because Leavin thought that she was like her father, and it seemed like a good thing. Sometimes they had arguments with her family members or bad days, but she loved them and she was always loyal, protecting them, no matter what.
What does she believe in?She isn’t sure. She’s supposed to belive in the Maker, but how can she even be sure that He exists? Because the Chantry said so? That’s not enough. Sometimes she thinks about religion and faith a bit, but her thoughts are always going in circles, arriving at the same point, so she doesn’t know what she believes.
What plans does she have for the future, does she live happily ever after? One of her best friends is Isabela, and she was always amazed how passionate she is when she talks about being at sea. So after DA2, I think she doesn’t want to stay, but sail with Isabela for a while. Of course she takes Fenris with her as well. I love that headcanon that Hawke and Fenris have a child (I think it’s a girl) and Leavin always says that she’s gonna be an archer like her or at least a rogue, but Fenris always says that she’ll be a warrior. And one day she does magic.
Yael Trevelyan/Mountell
Who did she romance and why?She didn’t romance anyone yet, but she has a mild crush on Josie. I still need to finish the Josephine romance to answer this question, and I can only do it if my best friend lends me her laptop...
What is her personality like? She’s a noble, so she has money and influence and she always tries to use them for good things. She knows that servants and kings are all human, they’re all the same people in different situations, so normally she respects everyone. She’s also pretty careful, she wouldn’t go to extreme lengths to help people, because she doesn’t want to lose her influence and resources, because then she wouldn’t have the tools to help. She usually helps in small ways, does something very subtle, just opens a door, gives someone information, things like that. She prefers the life of a warrior to the life of a noble lady, but she doesn’t mind playing the games of nobility.
What was her chilhood like, what’s her relationship like with her family? She has three older borthers and a younger sister. When she was little, she always watched her borthers training with swords, and she loved it, and she wished to learn it as well. She always wanted to be as good as her oldest brother, Austyn. The second brother’s called Gavin, they weren’t on very good terms usually, but they didn’t hate each other. The youngest of the brothers is Bryce, and they were always pretty close. They used to practice together a lot, and she always liked him better than the others. Both Gavin and Bryce became templars. The sister’s name is Adeline, she’s a pretty one, and Yael liked playing the big sister, always looking out for her, always being there if she neededto talk to someone. Then when she was grown up, Adeline had to marry someone from another city, and she hated it there. The family she was marrying into was pretty messed up, but she wanted to stay because she cared a lot about her husband. Yael writes often to her. She never liked that Adeline is away with all those people, but she’s trying to keep an eye on her, and she promised to help her with whatever she might need. For a while Yael was thinking about becoming a templar like her brothers, but when her father died, she decided to stay and help Austyn. Now she’s glad that she stayed. They can work together pretty well, they usually don’t agree on things, not completely and that helps Austyn to make deicisions, gives him a different perspecitve. Her childhood was pretty calm, they had a lot of money, they had arguments, but there was rarely any big trouble in the family, and if there was, she was too young to understand it.
What does she believe in?She believes that all creatures are the Maker’s children, and that the Maker loves them, and that’s why she’s always trying to use her position to help others. She doesn’t care for Chantry politics too much, being an Andrastian isn’t about that. I think her values are very close to early Andrastian ideas.
What plans does she have for the future, does she live happily ever after?I haven’t even finished this playthrough, so I’m not sure yet. I’ll probably have some headcanons once I each the end.
Aysun Trevelyan?
Who did she romance and why?I’m planning to romance Cullen with her, BUT it’s very tricky. I think she might develop some kind of crush on Cullen for which she hates herself, she was terrified of him for a very long time. But they’ll never have a normal relationship, they won’t even reach that point where you could say that they’re together. She’ll get very scared, and she’ll back out. She doesn’t trust people, she can’t. And someone trying to get that close to her... she’s gonna freak out and trying to keep him away.
What is her personality like?Like I said, she’s almost unable to trust anyone. She sees a pretty grim world, where everyone is selfish, and they only care about themselves, and you can trust no one, you have to rely on your own skills. She’s easily intimidated by other people, she automatically thinks about what they might want from her, because everyone wants something, and everything they do is because they want to reach their goal. She’s very lonely, she likes reading, she likes the night and the moon, looking out the window and watching the night sky. She likes animals lot better than humans, once she gets to try out riding, she will fall in love with it, and that’s almost the only thing that makes her feel free.
What was her chilhood like, what’s her relationship like with her family? Her family was ashamed of her. They wanted people to forget that she every existed, because they didn’t want that sort of reputaition, that magic runs in their family. sometimes they wrote to her, but she hated them for abandoning her and putting her in tthis big, scary place with all those templars, with all those people. So she’s stubbornly hateful towards her family and want nothing to do with them. Her childhood in the circle was usually stressful, she was the quiet girl, afraid of everyone, she was an easy target and she often felt threatened even when she didn’t truly have any reason to feel that way. She had a few “friends” but these friendships weren’t really deep, I’d say they were usually mutually beneficial.
What does she believe in?When she was younger, she wanted to believe in the Maker. She was looking for something to give her hope, keep her going, and for a while she was trying to find that hope in the circle’s chapel. But as she grew older, she lost even that little faith she had. The thought of the Maker only makes her frustrated, even angry. Because He abandoned His creation, so He can’t be better than her parents, and she hates Him for it.
What plans does she have for the future, does she live happily ever after?I’m not even sure if she would survive Inquisition :P I haven’t finished the playthrough yet, and I won’t have an answer until I do :)
Varlin Lavellan
Who did she romance and why?I’m literally nowhere with this playthrough, but I know the answer. Iron Bull. As soon as she meets him, she’ll be kinda obsessed with him, because he’s a qunari, and his big and strong and it’s just very exciting for her and she really wants to sleep with him.
What is her personality like? She has an overly dramatic, bit crazy, vivid imagination and inner world and her sense of humor is based on that. She’s very honest, rather blunt, she says whatever she thinks. She can be very hard working if she’s motivated, but she can get bored easily. She’s energetic, likes moving, hunting, running. She can be very annoying for a lot of people, and a lot of things she says makes them uncomfortable, she doesn’t know how to behave properly, but she doesn’t care.
What was her chilhood like, what’s her relationship like with her family? She has four brothers, only one of them is younger than her. Both their parents are alive. Mom is the tough one, if she tells you something she expects you to do it, and she doesn’t have patience to deal with you if you refse to do what she said. She sounds more tough than she really is though, she tends to laugh at her children’s weird things sometimes. The whole family is like always teasing each other, sometimes they sound kinda mean even, they aren’t the best family ever, but they always help each other out, work together, and they care a lot about each other. Varlin loves her brothers. They mess with each other all the time, and sometimes she can be too annoying, and someone snaps at her, but still they do care about each other. Her mother scolded her often, but she usually had good reason to.
What does she believe in?She believes in the elven gods like you believe in superheros. For her, elven mythology is a bunch of facts, but she only cares about the cool parts of these facts. She mostly thinks about the Creators and elven lore and everything how I described her imagination. So it’s not unlikely that she’d say things like “If the bandits won’t leave us alone, Elgar’nan will come and throw an aravel at them.”
What plans does she have for the future, does she live happily ever after?I’m not even close to the end of the playthrough so I really can’t answer that.
Thanks for the asks! Everyone else is welcome to Ask About My OCs as well!
Her fighting skills come from self defense and her mother taught her how to use the daggers, but she didn’t need to use it against people for a very long time. She tries to dodge a lot, and somehow get behind her enemy’s defense. If she has time before combat, and she thinks it’s gonna be a tough one, she’ll coat her dagger in poison and she always has acid flask and its friends with her, so she uses those pretty often. She does her best to pay attention to her companions, and tries to help them if they’re in trouble.
Leavin Hawke
She’s an archer, and one of the most important things for her is to get out of sight. She tries to hide from the enemies, keep her distance, and she hunts for weak spots and mistakes, surprises her foes, takes out the people who aren’t paying attention to her. So she’ll often shoot people in the back, not the most honorable thing to do, but who cares if it’s effective. She also pays A LOT of attention to her companions, and if one of them is having trouble, they’ll be her priority and she’ll do everything she can to help them.
Yael Trevelyan/Mountell
She uses sword and shield usually. She’s very focused, she keeps in mind what’s happening around her, counts her enemies, sees the battlefield pretty clearly, and thinks ahead. She’s used to battles against more people, and single combat as well, but if the enemy isn’t human she might have more trouble with that. She waits for the right moments, she can react quickly to her foes attacks, and she’s very precise. She does her best to pay attention to her companions, work together with them, or help them out, and use any advantage she notices.
Aysun Trevelyan?
Before Inquisition, she didn’t need to use her magic in battle. In the beginning she’s always terrified, and learns spells to protect herself, barriers, escaping the enemy, things like that. But dealing with the rebel mages in Redcliffe makes her more and more angry, and from that point she starts learning destructive spells. She likes using fire, she can be very violent on the battlefield, and her fighting style is extremely selfish. She doesn’t pay much attention to her companions, she wants to survive, and she doesn’t know how o work together with them. Eventually she needs to work on this, and she’ll get better at it, but she’ll never be a team player.
Varlin Lavellan
Her fighting style is pretty similar to Sera’s. Why? They are both archers, and they’re both energetic, slightly crazy people. Varlin doesn’t aim much, she shoots very quickly and instinctively. If they aren’t being ambushed, she usually starts with four arrows, three in her left and one in her right hand. For a long time she tends to run out of arrows, because she’s not used to these kinds of battles, she’s used to hunting, and also she’s not thinking ahead very much. She’s pretty focused (she can be very hard working if she’s motivated and not bored) she’s agile, she moves around a lot. She can escape approaching enemies quickly, and she doesn’t like to stand still for more reasons. She kinda feels like an easy target if she does, and also she’s not the person who does a lot of standing still… in silence…. :P She can work together with people, but I think sometimes she forgets to, because she’s more focused on what she’s doing.
