☛ Yael’s home life was always surprisingly stable, despite being an outsider. They had a regular family, a regular home, and a regular life. Their parents, however, wanted better, and pushed them to be smarter than the others, better than the others. They were given access to the best tutors, read more books than one could imagine, took high school grade classes in elementary school, everything they could to appease their parents.
☛ This worked, and landed Yael a scholarship, a place among the elites. Very quickly, however, they found that the school was hardly a place for people who are smart - moreso people who are rich. Feeling out of their depth, and alone among the highest classes of society, they turned to what they knew best to get people to like them.

✉ What they knew best, of course, was technology. If they couldn’t afford to buy their friends the way everyone else seemed to, maybe they could find another way. The school, for an expensive place, hardly had a security system worth boasting about. For a small fee, Yael is willing to alter anyone’s grades, or erase a black mark off their record.
✉ Yael learned the hard way that not everyoe is willing to keep a good thing secret, and began using their knowledge of technology to their advantage, occasionally gaining access to little tidbits they could use to blackmail influence people to keep quiet about deals made with them.
↳ A PARTY ISN’T A PARTY UNTIL SOMEONE CRASHES
♥ Winston Chu &&. you want a piece of all the action ♡ &&. Winston caught Yael out one day in the computer labs, and, instead of ratting them out to Simpson, offered them a deal. He would play coverup, help keep things on the downlow, if they would give him a piece of the monetary pie. ♥ Lola Pacini && friends ♡ &&. Though tensions would often rise between Lola and Yael, Lola quickly discovered that what she first thought was Yael’s internalised misogyny was, in actual fact, a gender crisis. As with Fiona, Lola was quick to offer a helping hand, helping them pick out clothes, pronouns, hair, the whole nine yards, and the two have been inseperable since. ♥ Rasha Zuabi && unrequited crush ♡ &&. Yael’s attraction to Rasha isn’t something they ever expected, nor was it something they felt they could explain. Though Rasha had never been quiet about her sexuality, Yael is well aware they have no chance, and is happy, for now, to admire from afar. ♥ KC Guthrie && client ♡ &&. In order to remain at the school, and keep his newfound status up, KC has to maintain a certain grade. It would, of course, reflect badly on the Hollingsworths should their charity case suddenly fail. While he is surprisingly gifted, and by no means stupid, the stress of everything else makes it almost impossible to focus - and it’s easier to pay Yael off with stolen goods from the Hollingsworth home, or money extorted from Miles, to keep his grades up. ♥ Hunter Hollingsworth && ex-partner♡ &&. having feelings for your best friend is something that a lot of people dream of but for hunter it was not that simple. When Yael came out to Hunter he had a hard time dealing with it, he feels guilty for the way he treated them but he cannot change the past but he hopes that they can start fresh. ♥ Zoe Rivas, Frankie Hollingsworth &&. Goldi Nahir && suitemates ♡ &&. You would not be able to find four people more different and put them in a suite together. These four do have their fair share of laughs but Yael does not consider them best friends or anything.
