Can someone explain the Sebastian Stan comment please?
So Sebastian Stan basically posted an instagram story with a 😳 emoji of someone’s tweet saying
together until the end of the line. Or until bad, inconsistent, out-of character writing turns Steve Rogers into his own anti-thesis. Shouldn't it be "together until the end of the lie" now?
there’s an insider article covering it over here but it’s basically not as overt a criticism as the other actors. still, it’s being taken as one. keep in mind he’s still under the arm of Disney, so it’s hard to say if it actually is one or if it’s framed in such a way that he could play it off so as not to have them come down on him

Frostbite883′s Q: In a future timeline of the main MU, if a new version of the Illuminati, with members including Tony Stark/IM 2.0, Subbie, Azari, Amadeus Cho, Ahura Boltagon, Hope Summers, Valeria Richards & Billy Kaplan (who’s replacing Doctor Strange as the new Sorcerer Supreme since Doc Stephen is long gone by that point in time) had formed to do what the original members did before, but better, would they succeed in doing a better job at it than their predecessors did?
Interesting question, and interesting set up. Only Subbie doesn’t feel right (he’s a 40s character, Namorita would have been a better choice for the Aquatic Civilization choice). I think they’d actually fail harder than the original, and that’s primarily because of Hope Summers. Unless she’s mellowed out in the intervening X-amount of years … Yeah, she’s kind of an unrepentant villain what with the whole mind control “I am the Messiah” thing and she’s not really good at listening to others, and doesn’t consider anyone in her age group an equal. She’s the messiah, she’s from the future, therefore she knows better . . . when she really knows nothing.Yeah, I always read her as a villain more than anything else in her team book. Azari would probably object on the same grounds as his Father did to the first one. Amadeus Cho would do the same, because the last Illuminati shot his mentor/friend into space. That leaves Namorita, Valeria, and Billy. And I don’t think Namorita or Billy would stick around after listening to the others dis the idea as hard as they would. So yeah, worse. Because they wouldn’t even form. Unless there was a REALLY compelling reason …
