March 18 - Tumblr Tuesday!
It's "Tumblr Tuesday" again! We're here to let you you know what's on our minds & hearts and what we'll be up to shortly.
So, we booked an ALL AGES show at the ARTWORD ARTBAR in HAMILTON for WEDNESDAY APRIL 23rd and we are really excited about it. For those of you that know us or have read our bio on our website you know that we function in many arenas as working musicians. You'll also know that our favourite type of show is the kind we booked at the Artbar - an evening of original song. People come and listen - we sing our hearts out!
Now, we've done plenty of them before but this one is particularly special because it is the first in a monthly series of "feature" shows that we will host across the Golden Horseshoe in "listening room" venues where we will share the stage with a local opener. Doing them monthly will enable us to play a considerable amount of venues throughout the year, meet new musicians, host an amazingly intimate yet exciting event and most of all - share our music with Ontario! As we stated before, we start in Hamilton (our most awesome hometown!) and will work our way across to Ajax/Pickering and then back.
As with any show, you will be able to buy Azalea merchandise. However, this will now include the sweetly anticipated AZALEA-CAKES! Yes, that's right we said cake! We love making (and eating) cake so we thought we'd share that with you too! Each show will feature a different cupcake flavour and they will retail at $2.00 each. But, if you buy an Azalea CD you get a cupcake free! So, if you love live music and cupcakes, this is your kind of show ;)
Moving on, we are SUPER excited about the whole thing, especially the fact that we will be "hosting" the concerts. Plus, we have been doing a lot of writing lately and even re-vamping our old repertoire, so sharing all our songs with you will be so much fun and an absolute pleasure! We hope to see you at a feature show soon and we'd also love to hear your feedback on our music. Also, if you are a musician in the Golden Horseshoe area and you think you're a good fit to open for us, shoot us an email and we can try to work out the details for our next show in your area!
