How I am with slight inconveniences:
The Leviathan on AO3
The end is coming, for the second time. As Judgment begins, Aziraphale and Crowley demand to ask the only question that matters.
Chapter 3/6 sneak peak:
One of the Leviathan’s heads broke through the clouds to scream straight into the sky. Crowley twisted his neck to glare at the impossible height of it. “That’s gonna be a real bitch to bring down, you know?” “We don’t have to kill it,” Aziraphale answered. “That would be doing God’s work anyways." Confused, the demon brought his attention back to him. “Wh-what are we doing, then, exactly?” Aziraphale squeezed his hand reassuringly and the corner of his mouth twisted into a sly smile. “Remember what God told Job?” Crowley’s words stumbled for a moment as he reached for the memory. “Something about ostriches?” “Well, that, but more importantly, something about whales.” The angel’s smile widened and his bright blue eyes lit up with a dangerous and hopeful resolve. Crowley stumbled as the entire earth shook. “Whales?” he asked, not fully understanding yet. “They were just toying with him. She said that if Job wanted answers, he had to come back when...” Aziraphale nodded. Crowley paled, then repeatedly switched his sights between his angel and the rising Leviathan as the realization dawned on him. Almost giddy, Aziraphale finished his thought. “If Job wanted an answer, he had to come back when he could make a whale!”
Sunshine Aziraphale is only half the story. That angel is on the freaking EDGE!
His hinges are holding on by one loose screw. The Eldritch horror is blazing behind pale blue eyes- all of them. I bet he doesn't go into conflict without a struggle because he scared himself with what he was capable of during the Great War.
I hope we see Aziraphale wreck in S3
(if not, whatevs, I'll love the story forever and that's what fanfic is for)

Chapter 2/6 sneakpeak:
Crowley’s face twisted into a sharp scowl and he snapped, “It really doesn’t matter why you left, Angel.” Then, he finally turned so the self-righteous idiot could not be spared any of his anger. He looked for Aziraphale’s eyes, the brilliant blue eyes he had sought out for over the history of time, and no longer found kindness there.
Quarantine is hard, even for the introverts.
A silly follow-up comic for my "wakeup call" piece on July 1st. XD
