At the grand opening of an antique shop, Asa Fell finds a peculiar snowglobe. Inside it sits the figure of a (oddly familiar) bookshop, with a vintage car parked out front. When he holds it, he's overcome by a wave of nostalgia so warm and intense that he nearly stumbles back. He buys it at once.
It lives on the cottage mantle. The tiny windows are always aglow, despite having no battery compartment. Every now and then, Asa would swear the little car goes missing.
