this basically takes place in an AU where after some time a good chunk of the gunsawians on the Grey Planet end up getting rescued by some company (which ends up getting sued for doing so). So a lot of the gunsawians who ended up going to Earth (or other colonies) are often discriminated against, in poverty, homeless, or all of the above. (These goobers happen to be in the all of the above section.) Also fun fact, River is a milky expie hybrid if that wasnt obvious! :D
