its that time of year again

I had a lot of fun with this art! it was challenging to try and figure out the posing and peprspective, but I managed to figure it out, and I'm super satisfied with it!

Routes under the cut

Cub and Scar! Technically both re-appear on another map, though. They've spent several months here, and hence have a shortcut down to layer 3. They regularly get to Wasteland(Layer 4), but their extended trial and error means they have no idea what's beneath until they finish examining the layer they're on.

Etho & Gem! As has been established, Gem stays in her pod literally until the dungeon curse starts to consume her: she's not very fond of exploring, but Etho's speedrunning-ass tactics means she's resorted to saying that exploring is why they need to slow down. Technically, Etho & Gem DO find the heart, but they return to the jungle for supplies.

Finally, the complex one. Tango and Pearl! They get lost in the desert and have to revisit layer 2, but eventually go about their very lore-y timeline. AS I PROMISED, Scar actually joins them! But then they get split up. Again. RIP. don't ask about the beast btw or wtf is going on with the heart

I HAVE... A NEW AU!!!! TO PUT HOMOSEXUAL GOOBERS IN!!

this basically takes place in an AU where after some time a good chunk of the gunsawians on the Grey Planet end up getting rescued by some company (which ends up getting sued for doing so). So a lot of the gunsawians who ended up going to Earth (or other colonies) are often discriminated against, in poverty, homeless, or all of the above. (These goobers happen to be in the all of the above section.) Also fun fact, River is a milky expie hybrid if that wasnt obvious! :D
