azra whats your favorite thing about being alive ☀️
>She tilts her head, considering this question
"I am not completely positive if I count as alive in the same way that you might, but"
>She looks in a direction, where you can faintly hear but not make out talking
"...I love being with Elzika. I love feeling the rain and wind. I love... Everything. I suppose that my favorite part of being alive is being able to love."
If you haven't read @cloudbattrolls recent plot I would suggest doing so before reading this so you have the needed context
Mentions of Thrixe (Cloud's) and Karell ( @ase-trollplays) and (not by name) Elzika ( @damistrolls )
Many things could be said to be virtues of Pidgen Nyxxus, but patience was probably stretching it. He had woken up one night with a the most horrible feeling in the pit of his stomach, one that had led him to immediately trying to contact Thrixe. And not getting an answer. Okay, that’s fine, hopefully, maybe he’s just planning a surprise! He paced, the scales now covering his tail glinting in the dim light.
But then Karell had shown up, asking after their mutual boyfriend. He had tried to remain calm during that interaction, but it had resulted in him spending more and more time in the pocket dimension, hoping he would find his mate, or at least his sister. Neither had ever ended up showing up, this was fine. It wasn’t fine, and his fear and nerves kept building more and more, finally coming to a head one day when he found himself unable to reenter.
And then suddenly, it was like a dam burst within him, flooding everything with a feeling of Wrongness and Pain unlike anything before. He gasped, dropping to his knees and clutching the starfish shaped pillow he so often slept with now tightly. He fought against the rising feeling, shudders wracking his body as he did, before a new voice cut through the red fog enveloping his brain, one far too gleeful for the circumstances.
“Well, it’s about time you kicked this off!”

Not many things scared Azra, though it was the first emotion she learned to identify, it still did not come up often. Now was one such occurrence. She could not explain what it was that frightened her so badly, what was wrong, because at that moment it felt like everything was. For just a split second, but it was enough for every inch of her being to be on high alert. Part of her said it was time to settle down defensively, protect, but that’s not the part that won out.
Which is why she was as she was now, in possibly her smallest dragon form and wrapped tightly around her moirails neck. Her claws were digging in, she might even be drawing blood but the red alert screaming in her brain prevented noticing such things. She went from looking around wildly, to hiding her face in his neck. Safety, perhaps, or at least comfort.

Pidge looked up at the being who seemed to have simply… appeared. She was perched on a rock, in such a manner than it made the lump of stone seem almost like a throne. It seemed like the moons were causing her to glow, as her butterfly wing fins tilted down in what could only be described as disgust. Something about her felt familiar to him, but he probably would not have been able to put his finger on it even if he was totally clear headed.
“Woooow, you do look particularly pathetic like this. I knew all you deepdweller mutts were, but you always did take the cake, didn’t you.”
She practically floated down off the rock, and Pidge had just enough time to notice that not only did the glow come with her, but he was pretty sure he could see the background behind her, before a swift- and powerful- kick sent him skidding. He wheezed, the pain amplifying rather than receding as he was used to. She walked closer.
“You can’t fight this, so stop trying. Give in, not that you have a choice I can see it’s already starting” she smirked.
And she was not wrong. The feeling of Wrongness, of Pain increased, and Pidge let out a singular wail even as something started to break through his skin.

Izzy had been having a relatively normal day, all things considered. A lonely one, sure, as his pitch was out of the house, but that's fine. He just heated up a frozen meal and flopped down to watch TV for the next several hours. Perfectly normal things. But then it was as if someone put an ice cube down his back. He shivered, and tensed up, glancing around trying to figure out what caused this spike of adrenaline, but not seeing any cause.
And then he did see a cause.
Well, see was maybe a bit of a stretch. He felt it, heard it, and it made its name known to him. I’m your father, it said, and now you’re going to do me the favor you were born to do.
And then Izzy knew just darkness as control of his own body was yanked away from him.

The glowing fuchsia watched as Pidge’s body seemed to ripple, before it started to grow. She never did grow tired of watching the first transformation, or the second, or any really! Well, Eizzil’s were boring to watch now, she had far too much control. There was something Wrong with this one, however. It wasn’t clear at first, but once he was finished, she could see. He had legs, for one, none of the others had legs! At least not that she had noticed, how interesting. Something seemed wrong with his scales too, they were causing him pain; ah, well, that worked better for her.
The aquatic dragon now in front of her wailed, a noise somewhere between pain and sorrow, tears and blood dripping onto the ground. The look in his eyes was a wild one, only a hint of the original troll held in those fuchsia spheres. He lunged, but she had no problem summoning her weapon and letting him stab himself through the roof of his mouth. He screamed and backed up, shaking his head violently to dislodged it. It didn’t get very deep, pity, maybe he could have ended this.
She let the tail coming at her simply phase through, no need to bother avoiding it, too much work really. But she slammed a replica of the first weapon into it, in the gap between scales. This was too easy, really, so many gaps to take advantage of, and he had so little to do in return. It really didn’t take long for him to retreat, she could only be hit when she wanted to, after all. Now that her fun was done, she simply vanished, as if never there.
He fled, retreating into a somewhat nearby cave to lick his wounds as his body attempted to stabilize. Hunger would drive him out soon, but for now he would rest, and heal.
Back where the fight took place, the ripped apart remains of a singular starfish plush soaked in blood quickly became engulfed by rapidly growing plant life.

Two ancient entities began to stir, one causing the very ground to ripple like water, the other much calmer but no less dangerous.
“What about Aeivas? If you are asking if I would protect him as well then the answer is a extraordinarily easy yes. He is Elzika’s beloved and so he is the third most important troll I know, or to exist as far as I am concerned”
