Amazing repost from our friend Armando Madrid!
"The Aztec Sun Stone square from Kent Wang meets the real Aztec Sun Stone.
When I got this square I thought it would be very cool to take a photo of it with the real stone. But it was going to be difficult because if you want to take photos inside the museum — with a different camera not with your phone — first, you have to cover an extra fee, secondly and I think this is the hardest part, this museum is the most visited in Mexico City, so it's crowded.
Trying to setup the tripod, get the right framing and shot was going to be the challenge. I definitely need help if I wanted this shot.
Luckily, my girlfriend knew some contacts that work at the museum and one of them happened to be the photographer of some collections, so she knew how to get it right.
The museum security thought they where making me an interview haha.
Hope you enjoy these shots as much as I do.📸: Gaby."
