Hanbin was enjoying the view of the night sky, in an open air. It’s been such a long time since he was this .. peaceful. He was thankful that she decided to be good friend and bring-more like drag him here.
The secret park that she told him about is really nice and quiet. The grass slightly dampen his pant tho since rain did occurred earlier. It’s magical really how the night skies clear up and the stars start showing, glowin’ brightly decorating the mystical night sky.
Hanbin smiled.
He hugged his legs to his chest as she nudge him though refusing to take his eyes from the night view.
“Fine- I’ll admit it, it is cool-” He snorted, finally taking his eyes from the sky to stuck his tongue out at her playfully. “..but I’ll still call you a nerd tho.”
He grinned from ear to ear thought his head perked up as soon as the topic meteors come out. Hanbin is actually thrilled. He never seen a live meteors occurrence before.
“Ok. Cool. No cheating tho.” He narrowed his eyes at her.
Shannon truly lived for nights like these: nights where she could relax and enjoy herself with the company of a friend. She loved learning about stars and outer-space, a factoid that only a few knew. She had a sense that Hanbin would enjoy it as well, and she was pleased to know he was appreciating it as much as she was. The peaceful scenery of the park really did top off the whole experience -- it made the two of them feel as if they were truly alone in the world.
“Yah!” she playfully whined, pushing the male gently. “I’m not a nerd! I’m just curious. Besides, if I really am a nerd then so are you.” She nodded her head sternly and huffed before laughing at the male.
“How would I cheat? I’ll be super truthful about how many meteors I count. You better not cheat either!” She then shot her arm up at the sky, pointing at the passing meteors. “Start counting!”
