Hi. How do I find the pop-up panels? Where are the rooms and where can I see who's signed up to do what? I can only find the main room, where other people say they're waiting for the pop-ups too. It would be great if you could put a clarifying post up. Thanks for running all this!

Hi! Sorry for any confusion, but by “open around the same time as our scheduled panels” I meant all of the stuff about the pop-up rooms will be posted at once. The links to the rooms, the sign-up sheets, everything.

So nobody’s missing anything—it’ll all be posted and linked as soon as I can manage once I make sure the first scheduled panel of the day gets underway.

The extra rooms were a late addition to the con plan, so they’ve been trickier to get ready than some other parts. I appreciate everyone’s patience!

Pop-up panels update

The rooms for pop-up (spontaneous) panels should open around the same time as our scheduled panels get going today, and then they’ll stay open for the rest of the weekend.

So if there’s a topic you care about that won’t be covered by the scheduled panels or you’re on the other side of the world from the rest of us and the timing’s been all wrong for you, start thinking about any pop-up panels you might want to host and when. There will be a lot of time slots available, and the sign-up will be self-serve.
