It slammed hard, Bambam barely even registering his own strength until the echo, harsh and heavy, filled the room and he could only take a moment to think. To breathe. It was helpless, though, when thoughts flooded and clouded his mind, leaving him to only suffocate. How did things turn out this way? A light disagreement turned into a harsh argument and neither backed up until the very end— when it was all too late. Dropping his face in his palm, Bambam cursed, living in his regrets.

The words he wished to say, ‘I’m sorry’, weren’t enough and Bambam knew. He didn’t deserve to mutter those words, sincere or not. He hurt Minki— and he hurt Minki bad and it took one more twist before the assistant finally pulled the covers of him, he wasn’t going to sleep. His guilt wouldn’t allow him to and an exhausted sigh escaped his throat as he grabbed his jacket and headed down the corridor. ‘I’ll talk to him if I see him’— he excused, knowing he wasn’t confident enough to approach the other just yet but as eyes dropped on a familiar face, a face he wasn’t ready to see, Bambam felt a lump in his throat.

"Minki…" He called out, it was the only word that he could find and clutching his fingers together, the younger exhaled a breath. "I’m—" he paused, though, the apology still something he felt like he couldn’t say and that resulted into nothing more than silence. He could sense the disappointment waver from the other and frowned, dropping his head. "I still want to be friends." Bambam then confessed and he meant that truthfully. "But its up to you, whether you can accept me back — I…" he froze.

There was nothing more he could say.

He couldn’t find the words he wished to say.

— two… one, two, three.i like your messy hair.

"Do you ever just stop talking?" Bambam questioned, cursing under his breath as he inched himself forward. Subconsciously, trapping the other against the wall. Luhan, — there wasn’t really an explanation to how much the other got under his skin. Or made him want to punch that pretty face in. But at the same time, there wasn’t much of an explanation to why Bambam had the slight urgency to just press lips and shush him up another way. For example, at this moment; when the brat, messily haired and all, decided to play annoying games and endless banters with the uninterested assistant.

It took a couple of seconds — correction, a couple of agonizing seconds before Bambam leaned forward, his arms extended on either side of Luhan, caging the male in. “What is it that you exactly want, Luhan?” Though, for some odd reason Bambam felt like that question wasn’t directed to the other but more to himself because there were helpless of times where he would ask that same exact question. Where he just couldn’t stop thinking about the other and his obnoxious but seemingly soft lips.

Though, wasting not a second more, (Bambam couldn’t bother himself with his rival any longer), he finally leaned forward and pressed lips. It was a soft peck at first, barely brushing as the male kept his gaze on the other. “It’s this, isn’t it?’ He couldn’t help but then question, making sure to capture everything; (he needed something he could use to tease the other later on) and chuckled breathlessly before returning to the warmth. This time, moving their lips; Bambam starting and Luhan following, both, momentarily forgetting about their relationship towards each other.

His view fell from the darkening sky, settling over his date— Myungsoo. Whom was currently occupied with his phone call and Bambam exhaled a breath, the cloud of faint smoke passing his parted lips as he huddled his shoulders and slipped cold fingers into his pockets. It seemed like an important call, Bambam didn’t wish to interrupt it but every minute it took, another minute of their time was wasted and he sighed, ignoring that selfish part of him as he kept his concentration on warming up his hands. Myungsoo was a busy man, who after many pleads and attempts, agreed to go on a date (though, the other called it a ‘hang out’), so Bambam couldn’t complain, but as a certain name, a name that belong to a certain blonde pretty boy was heard over the distance, the younger could feel a painful cringe. Was that Myungsoo’s so-called important call? 

— open your heart tonight.'cause i can be all that you need.

Another couple of minutes, (specifically thirteen) and Bambam found himself back by the others side. A gentle smile his first greeting, playing as if their separation never happened, before his finger rose pointing at the black sky. “It’s getting late, we should head—” his words were cut as a warm hand clasped over his own and blinking surprised, Bambam’s gaze averted back on the older. There was not much explanation to the action, Myungsoo only complained about his dislike for cold hands and yet Bambam knew exactly what he was doing. The warmth that was hard to find in the space of his pocket was now found easily against the others own hand and Bambam tried his hardest to not curve his dorky smile. But failed — and he ignored the words of sarcasm that followed, expressing how much of a hassle it was to take care of him, because fingers were suddenly laced.

When the bubble that just included Myungsoo and Bambam broke, the male held back his disappointment. They finally reached Atrapado and that meant nothing more than a goodbye. Whatever they had earlier didn’t exist and it was time to face reality. “I had a nice time,” Bambam stated, ignoring how girlish that sounded and finally, but unwillingly, unlaced their fingers, dropping his hand back by his side. He ignored the empty feeling that settled by him and glanced over at the phone that vibrated in Myungsoo’s hand. His gaze skimming past the caller ID, though, with the nickname, he couldn’t properly identity the person — but, he had a feeling it was the same blonde from earlier. “You can get that, I’ll leave.” Bambam finally spoke, meeting the others eyes. No matter what happened, he was always found back on the sidelines. Watching everything mute, but, he had his time, so, it was finally his turn to walk away. But as he did, he heard the faint voice of Myungsoo’s and halting his movements but not bothering to turn around and glance back at the male, Bambam smiled, foolishly.

“Next time, wear your gloves. I don’t want to keep holding your hand.’

— everyday im a star in the city.walk the streets like a wanted man.

"Man, why do I have to be so attractive?” Bambam questioned teasingly as his eyes dropped to the male beside him, who scoffed in response. “Whaat— look at all these eyes on me? It’s obvious that I’m a wanted man.” He continued the obnoxious act and only sulked when he figured Jongdae was ignoring him. Though, it didn’t last long because a light bulb flashed over Bambam’s head. Clearly he had an idea and whether it was good or not, Chen was going to find out real soon. 

— motherfuckers all know who i am.you’re the one now. turn me on.

"What are—".

"Shush," and lips pressed against the others, the secret attempt to hush Jongdae up replaced by the pleasure of the male’s soft lips. "I’m showing you just how attractive I can be." Bambam responded with a glint of pure mischief as he ignored the cramped space that filled when not one but two occupied a single bathroom stall. There were breathy chuckles and both kept their focus on each other as the beginning to their new game officially started.

"Now admit it." Bambam demanded, his teeth grazing across Chen, who hummed back in slight puzzlement. "Admit what?"

"That I turn you on." The assistant responded, keeping his confidence high while his fingers travelled playfully down the others side and he could hear the flirt snort before reaching over to nip back at his own lips.

"You admit it first." Jongdae spoke and if it had not been for Chen’s lips silencing him up, Bambam would have been rather positive, that they would have started another gamble to see which one fell first.

— lets not grow apart like this.time is passing while we hesitate.

Bambam’s hand reached over to settle down on Jackson’s shoulder, but when it fell, when it had returned to his side and when the back of his close buddy distanced away from him, the assistant blinked. “Jackson?” He called out, though, it was nothing more than a mere whisper as the other was already halfway down the hallway, laughing with another. Someone Bambam didn’t seem to recognize.

He wasn’t still mad at him, was he? 

— come to me now, talk to me.we don’t have a tomorrow.

The cringe in his chest confused the assistant. But he let it slide because Bambam wasn’t supposed to feel lonely. Heck— he wasn’t lonely. Okay, he was just surprised.

"Ah, I’ll just talk to him tomorrow." The male muttered to no one in particular but that didn’t settle the uneasy feeling that bubbled against his stomach and he played with the corner of his lips. Trying to distract himself from his thoughts. The thoughts that played with his fear. Jackson probably didn’t see him come from behind. The older was too occupied with his other friend, the assistant then tried to reason and maybe it was true, but it didn’t make Bambam feel any bit better.

— don’t push me further and further away.us two, right here, right now.before it disappears.

But he knew. He knew it all too well and finally his spoiledness was pushing Jackson away. The only one that stood by his side for so long, granting his wishes and putting up with his selfish needs. Bambam was losing the other and he knew it was affecting him. Jackson wasn’t like his one-night stands. He was someone irreplaceable that stood by his side through thick and thin. Someone Bambam had only repaid by being a brat.

Clutching his knuckles, the assistant watched the duo that was up ahead. They were just a couple of feet in front, enough for Bambam to get a proper view and once he watched Jackson extend his hand to ruffle the others hair, laughing about something that the assistant figured was probably stupid, Bambam cringed once more.

Jackson was only supposed to ruffle his hair.

And Bambam finally admitted to the silence that surrounded him. He needed Jackson.
