Twilight Knight first met Bea when he was out patrolling in Cookie County. Bea was very scared of TK and it was clear that she hadn’t been treated the best by however had owned her previously. Over time, Bea warmed up to TK and despite them not knowing how Meta Knight would react to him bringing home a Scarfy, they did so anyway, and once home TK finally gave her a proper name: Bellatrix Eseli Astella. (Even though everyone now calls her Bea)

Bea is super friendly and protective of TK (so much so that she’d probably follow him into battle) ((and I’m sure she could hold her own lol))

Bea’s full name has quite a couple meanings:

Bellatrix- a star in the constellation Orion and as a name means warrior

Eseli- shortening of the Halcandrian word for miracle ‘Eselijsm’

and finally Astella- the halcandrian word for Star and a reference to the stars on Bea’s cheeks!

Dear Charlie,

Back in February I sent you a letter. And in that letter, told you I called the suicide hotline twice and spoke to the same woman each time. And I also told you that if it wasn’t her the second time, I’d be dead in the grass. That context is only necessary to let you know that I’m still alive.

But I want to update you.

We got back together a week or two after that. She cheated on me with her ex-boyfriend a few weeks later after she thought we should take a ‘break.’ I idiotically forgave her. We were happy for another two months. And then she broke up with me in April. I’m still really broken up about her. I miss her so much, and I’ve never connected with anyone the way we did. She fucked me over, but I still love her. But I’m getting better. I spoke to her the other day for the first time in almost two months. She’s engaged to her best friend. When we broke up she claimed it was only because her therapist said she wasn’t mentally healthy enough for a relationship. I almost believe she lied to me then, and not for the first time. The news of her engagement has helped me move on easier. But between then, I dated this other girl. I met her at this local music festival and we spent the whole day playing billiards in the bar and dancing. I went home with her that night and we slept together (literally, not sexually) and it was amazing. We dated for a week before she cheated on me with two guys. I’m now interested in this new girl, two months later. This girl has never dated anyone before apparently. She’s not much younger than me. I really hope things work out with her. I hope she likes me as well. But I’m sorry this letter is dragging on. I just wanted to tell you that I’m alive, and I’m doing okay. I’m not doing great, but I’m so much better than two months ago. I hope you’re doing well. Oh, and she won’t see this, but happy birthday to the girl who broke my heart. I hope you’re happy. ~B.E.A
