Dear readers of Belavista,
Ah, Belavista... where appearances deceive and hearts are lost amidst the sweet scent of the night. If there’s one thing this town knows how to do, it’s weave its web of secrets with invisible, yet certain hands. And, as always, it is our dear Dr. Don Lotário who finds himself at the center of one of these webs.
They say he is a man of noble vocation, who tends to others’ wounds with skilled hands and an apparently steady heart. But, I wonder, do his hands remain as pure as they seem? In recent days, the good doctor has been visited, by night, by unexpected figures, and in these encounters, he seems to lose himself between desire and the promise of what is right.
Some say Don's empathy extends beyond the consulting room, and the echoes of his footsteps can be heard in more than one bedroom in this town. The young woman who tends to the house, with her shy eyes and carefully guarded secrets, and the Caliente sisters, who know the game of seduction well, surely have their own stories to tell.
But, ah, what would his fiancée, the impeccable Cassandra Caixão, think if she knew of the inclinations of the man who will soon be hers? The town watches, the night conceals, and I, as always, am but a mere spectator of the tales that unfold.
As always, I eagerly await the next chapter of this story, which, no doubt, has much more to reveal.
With affection,
B. Knows.
