They made the potato into a simple battery and added an LCD screen that responds to touch with a heart. B.U.D.D.Y. decided to call the little friendly potato “S.P.U.D.D.Y.”

BUDDY's favorite food?
B.U.D.D.Y. can’t taste food. They can put it into a special slot in their body that breaks it down into bio-fuel – this directly charges their spare batteries (in case their solar and kinetic batteries fail).
Because of this, they prefer food that looks interesting! Food with lots of colors and designs are their favorite. They often take pictures of their food (their eye has a built-in camera) so that they can enjoy how it looks later on. Things like bacon-cheeseburgers, pizza, and tacos, while not necessarily “gourmet”, are super colorful and so they love them a lot!
When Chris bakes cakes for everyone, he always makes a small cake just for B.U.D.D.Y. out of vegan ingredients (easier for them to break down) with intricate designs and swirls in both the icing and in the cake itself because he knows B.U.D.D.Y. will like it.

yknow... before our recent music scene was heavily influenced with the edm/club sounds, there was a small fraction in time in the mid 2000's where hip hop and neo-soul was the ONLY thing in the ears of the kids growing up around that time.
i was one of those fortunate kids to enjoy all that was hip hop, neo-soul, and even the post harcore rock scene. this song goes out to that small sliver of that golden era. and although those genres arent as strong as they once was, hopefully music will get back on the right track.
