i am the problematic person who hated tobey maguire’s old, emo rendition but i do think the films themselves had an unmatched ambiance? idk spider-man kind of perfectly fitted into the style of early 00′s

i keep making encouraging posts because i mean it when i say this year has impact. it is a universal clean slate, you may be in the midst of a personal 9 year cycle but that doesn’t take away the impact of having this clarity (that’s been reinforced by the unveiling of neptune)

for me having a personal 8 year, finding empowerment and reaping what i’ve sown (as its most commonly known as), i’ve felt a theme that sort of demands the new path of ‘well ya know what you have to work with but how bad do you want it? what are you willing to face?’ i’ve had to take responsibility for actions that had repercussions, unforeseen or not, and understand the dealings of those. i’ve had to open up in ways that terrified me, slowly letting things be known piece by piece, even the act of admitting what terrified me. my personal 7 year of last year was a vulnerable time as well but it was about ‘realizing’ (har har) that i had wounds in need of cleaning, admitting it to myself; it was the peak of what is and was wrong for myself. having had to expel the discharge and get it all out on the table now by admitting it to others, i’m gradually closing those wounds back with the ‘freshness’ that this year offers 

there’s more to be done, always, but it’s imperative to sit in the release for a moment - that goes for everyone
