Cethin was a blood mage who susained the lives of others with his art and played cards upon the table to guide those who sought his aid away from tragedy. He paid the price of defying Fate her sicknesses and deaths and was taken by Death before his forseen end. His sister stole him back to life, although in borrowed time his existence struck a sort of paradox he now lacked any blood to mend. Cethin seeks the answers to 'life' upon Crown and a chance to ask Fate her design for lives drowned by Death. When drawing from his deck to fortune his misfortunate future he pulls the only card that has ever spoken his name- the devil.
