Question- did you make the cream sauce using the same skillet you browned the chicken in?
I did, but I drained it. It had some of the bits from the bacon and the seasoning from the chicken and I was a bit worried that they would get over done and ruin the sauce. So, I drained the pan, wiped it out with a paper towel quick and started over. I was probably being overly cautious though. I did fry the bacon first and then just did the chicken in the bacon grease instead of using the vegetable oil. I’m glad I did that, it was yummy. My chicken needed a bit longer than the 20 mins in the oven, about 23 or so.
