Did you know Babbette was one of the first characters to appear in the raggedy Ann franchise?
Although she did appear in the very first raggedy Ann book, she was not the character we all love today. She appeared as a side character with the name ‘The French dolly’ later having the name ‘Suzette’ to finally having the name Babbette.
