why everyone say “this language is hardest”/“this language is grammatically the most challenging”/“this language has 100 words for one thing” cause like?? every language is hard to learn, every language is like 90% spoken colloquially and with idioms that are hard to learn and memorise

and that bullshit "this language doesn't even have a word for _____", like yeah....Language A might have one word that Language B needs 8 to describe but the reverse is true in a different scenario? thats how all languages work

like every language is basically the same, ya know? everyone’s pretty much on the same level if youre trying to learn a new one you dont need to freak yourself out over new grammar rules and idioms and vocab and shit, cause its not any harder than the language you already know and speak, you just like...gotta study sometimes for it and youll learn
