i think the ways get so much more interesting when we consider the trickle down effects of sexual violence from g (by whoever you want it to be hurting) to m, and how he seems to expand upon and Extrapolate the intensity of the violence he’s experienced on him just because mikey is ‘willing’ and he Can. you’d think he couldn’t find a bigger bomb. cord in those delicious gender-issue induced force fem ideations you’ve played with, maybe with a dash of that ‘hypersexuality-fever-stretched-into-love’ sort of territory you’ve touched on and i think you’ve built an extremely interesting, unpredictable malformation of victim turned abuser

AHAHA!!! YES!! i think an innate aversion to overt masculinity and an automatic association between maleness & sexual violence is integral to G’s character, ramping up as he gets older and more jaded with the hardcore adjacent scene. this can be interpreted as dysphoria or disillusionment with masculinity as the ideal (i like to do a little bit of both but it’s up to the reader what they see) as he took a lot of blows early on just because he was the most effeminate public-facing figure (HC & its spawn was and is a boys’ club) the masses could find. i’m so happy you sniffed that out.
mikey, at least my interpretation of him, takes whatever G gives to him no matter what. he doesn’t fight much and he would never tell for a dozen reasons (emotional & financial bondage) and he isn’t going to ask why because there was never a reason in the beginning beyond hormones. G’s violence boiled him like a frog. sexual aggression trickling down to him from G just sort of melds together with the generic homophobia he faces from the masses for presenting the way he does/did then he repeats the cycle with whoever he can find that sits lower on the totem pole of social power (younger women/teenage fangirls)
