Giggling with a squeak, the little girl relished at the feeling of his big, strong arms around her. They made her feel safe and protected. Even if everyone else feared him simply for being different, for being a Twilight, he would always be Nicolas Brown to her, and that would never change. The warmth of the blanket hut surrounding them made her laugh. Thunder boomed outside and it was a deadly downpour out there, but in here they’re warm. No one could harm them today.
