Crassus rolled over and looked at him. "Are you serious?"

He's small. Far too small to have gotten out of that play pen on his own. However, he's a thinker, like one of his creators, and he's determined. So there he sits, on the other side of the room, playing with colorful blocks and humming a rather beautiful tune. Upon hearing the titan enter, little finials shift into an upwards position and he turns. His little optics turn from his creator to the playpen and then back, before he chirps happily and holds up a block. He's smart, isn't he Blackout!

The little rugrat is far too small for most to think he belongs to Blackout, but he does. Even at his age of barely-coordinated-enough-to-walk-without-busting-his-head-on-walls, he's a crafty little stinker who pulls off stunts regularly that would make Houdini jealous. Much like this one. Blackout pauses as he enters the room, peering at his mechling on the floor, then the pen he'd made, then back at the wee bairn. ::// y e s,   i   s e e   y o u   g o t   y o u r   b l o c k s. ... s o m e h o w. //::

He's careful, fearing still in some back part of his mind that he'll break this little bit, who he can cage in the claws of his hands without effort. Scooping the adventurous toddler up, the titan takes him to the study and sets him on the desk while he works on paperwork. No point in putting him back in the pen, anyway.

There's a little sparkling sitting on a few crates level with Blackout's helm looking mighty proud of itself, barely formed rotors twitching and clawed pedes swinging, a severed servo in it's fangs. [Call me small an' patted me. No more pats now.] A pleased little glint in it's optics as it texts their creator. Baby's first trophy.

... He finds that terribly cute. Blackout is also intimately aware that finding their young spratling with a bloody severed hand in their mouths is not something a normal mech would find "awww"-worthy, but he supposes he gave up being even remotely average millions of years ago. Look at it. Although busy, Blackout still manages to find time for his offspring. Pausing mid-stride, the titan bends down and scoops the wee sparkling into his claws, depositing it on his shoulder to get situated.
