babybeeth: She's a little scared that she's influencing him to grow into the way older Bee is, since she's not sure exactly how that works - she's scared about his complete lack of a survival instinct, she's afraid of having him taken away from him, she's afraid of losing his favor and making him hate her.

notsobabybeeth: She's afraid that he's going to get hurt due to his spontaneity and - again - lack of a survival instinct. He has no fight or flight, just kind of... sit there and observe. She's scared to see herself outlive him, she's somewhat scared of the possibility that - if Phylus dies - he'll be left in her care and she won't be able to handle him properly. She's afraid of spoiling him, she's afraid of stunting his mental growth further. She also is mildly terrified whenever she makes a sexual advance in response to one of his open booty call posts - it feels WEIRD and NOT RIGHT, but she's also really really really scared stiff by the idea that he might be manipulated by somebody else who offers first. The idea that someone might use his obliviousness to hurt him the way she was hurt as a wriggler makes her sick to her stomach and she'd do anything to prevent it.
