oh my god there’s new tracks on his page i should have checked sooner

just remembered how good future funk is lmao

i’ve been listening to night tempo again and one thing i’ve grown to appreciate about some of his songs is that on songs that were made in english, he does something to them to make them completely different from the original song

like, most of the time its just some really weird drums and an additional speed up or slow down, but he does it in such a way that, if i heard the night tempo version before the original sample, it’ll be literally impossible for me to listen to the original because night tempo somehow did it better.

like, Mint? way better than Pretty Brown Eyes. Love Me Like You Do? leaps and bounds beyond the original Lovers. i dunno maybe its because the originals have potential to be great but they don’t really do it for me because of how slow and soft they are. i need them to be fast-ish and fun, like the true spirit of real babymake future funk. i dunno
