Our first 24 hours with Anthony was an exhausting dream. KK got us moved from the labor and delivery room to a VIP post-partum room. She also set us up with an announcement sign that matches our baby room theme. Once we were settled into the room, we were joined by family and friends to welcome Anthony into the world. Spending time with our little guys has been us at our happiest.

This is our last “belly growth” photo before delivery. We will be heading to the hospital Sunday at 5pm to start the induction process. Little Anthony will be here by Monday, June 5th and we cannot be more excited. Im signing off until delivery. I have bags to pack and a house to get in order before Granddad and Maw Maw arrive to see Little Anthony into this world.
Hurry up son, we are all waiting..

We are a week away from induction Sunday. This time next week we will be at the hospital prepping for labor. Britt has had some missteps, literally and figuratively. Her legs went weak while walking up the steps at TopGolf and she fell to all fours. Anthony has been active since the fall and Britt has no bleeding. On a lighter note, Britt is also living with an upper respiratory infection which is causing sneezing, coughing, runny nose, itchy eyes, and general misery. Even Instagram couldn't get the redness out of her nose and eye area. With all that being said, we are 4 working days (7 days total) from meeting little Anthony and could not be more excited.

We have been posting growth photos since 20 weeks pregnant and we may only have 1 more to do before delivery. 38 weeks and going strong. Time is flying by. We spent this week preparing our hospital bags, finishing up the baby room, and cleaning up the house. Next weekend is Memorial Day weekend and *boom* we are at 40 weeks and ready for induction.

Brittney and I put the finishing touches on little Anthony’s adventure / mountain themed room. We paired custom fabric to modern, minimal furniture. The DiVinci recliner (thank you Ross and Jen!) and the babyletto Hudson changer & crib, all came from Amazon. The fabric swatches that we used for all of the customer fabric is the header photo. Its a southwestern mountain theme with navy, grey, gold, and mint as the primary colors. The room really came together with the addition of the full-size children’s bear rug that is the focal point in the room. To heighten the rustic / woodsy vibe, I had custom wood plank artwork created with your favorite quotes from each of our Grandfathers. Lastly, I handmade the mountain theme mobile using fabric, wood, and yarn from Hobby Lobby.
Our vision was put into action with Anthony’s baby room. It is modern and mature enough to be transitional from infancy to boyhood. We look forward to spending a lot of time in this room watching our baby grow.

We are weeks away from delivery and little Anthony’s room is almost complete. I put together the MamaRoo and the installed the car seat this weekend. Brittney and I are in the final stages of packing our hospital bags which puts an exclamation point on a fun Mother’s Day weekend. We are officially less than 20 days in our countdown and there won't be too many more posts on this blog sans baby.

So we had a snafu with our weekly growth photos. Im waiting on a new memory card for my camera which leaves the iPhone camera as my main picture taking device. We have had an amazing few weeks with maternity photos, baby moon to Austin, and lil Anthony turning head down. Too much excitement to contain in one weekly post..

Last Sunday, Brittney and I had an amazing maternity photo shoot with Brittnie Renee. Its was super windy and neither of us felt great about our looks after changing in the car. BUT.. We love the way our photos came out. There were 92 images overall but I chose a few of my favorites to post here. Receiving the photos was a huge exclamation point added to the end of a great baby moon. We enjoyed our relaxation time in Austin and thank Krystina and Matt for hosting an incredible weekend.
