Another small house for my BaCC neighborhood, this time for a small family with a dog.
You know me, I cannot leave the appartments in this building unfurnished! This is the first of the smaller appartments, located on the groundfloor at the front of the building.
It is finally time to show you the project that I have been working during the whole month of January: new houses for my BaCC to fill the neighborhood. I do not have any families that are looking for a home right now, but I did not want to leave them unfurnished so I did some decorating, while also leaving some room for customization once I have a family that has to move to the house. I also challenged myself to use less CC and I had a lot of fun with the Ikea pack.
I have finished decorating the fifth and final appartment in this building. This is the largest appartment and covers the whole top floor. I made it into a cozy family appartment. I had never used this lilac color before and it was a little bit of a challenge to combine everything but I am really happy with the end result.
I have been building new lots and decorating appartment since the beginning of the year, but I think the time is finally here to continue playing my BaCC :)
Lately I have been more in the mood for creating stuff than actual gameplay but that is the beauty of the Sims 2: you can do both! So during the last few weeks I have been working on family portraits, hairretextures (still 20+ in my queue!), the tiny houses and now it was time to create the first appartment building for my BaCC neighborhood. This building contains 4 smaller appartments and 1 bigger appartment on the top floor.
Lately I have been experimenting more with 4t2 furniture and this appartment is one of the results. The majority of the furniture is from the 4t2 Tiny Living Super Set by Michelle. This appartment is part of the building I have recently shared here.
Maybe you have noticed that all 4 houses that I have shared this week (here, here, here and here) have the same tree in the frontyard. There is a good reason because all 4 houses were built on the same lot! It was just impossible to take nice pictures of the lot that do it justice, so I first shared the individual houses. The lot functions as an appartment so multiple families could live here at the same time. I have to find a family to move into one of the houses soon because I am super excited to play this lot! It is the first "appartment" in the neighbourhood and my first time playing an appartment since 2013.
All of the credits for the idea for this lot go to the wonderful Snapdragoned, who was my source of inspiration for this build.
Bianca got engaged to townie Tyler and it was time for them to find their own place. I am really happy with how this colorfull house turned out! I think you can tell from the interior that Bianca likes cats. I was kind of expecting Bianca to end as a single cat lady because she never showed any interest in anyone before she met Tyler.
I had the idea to make a street of small starter houses in different colors. This house is the mirror image of Emmett's house (inspired by this post from Suratanontherun) which is next door. The only difference is that an extra room was added as a nursery since Bianca and Tyler are expecting their first child.
