True Buddies
Building relationships in school often leads to lasting professional relationships. During this externship, I was able to make a new connection and build on one I already had. With Brett and Haomiao at Youthbuild Boston, I got the chance to make that connection with people I could potentially be working with one day.
A Mentorship and Sponsorship action that I will commit to this year is to help my buddies in any way I can. Through helping make connections or even giving feedback on school projects. In return, I know they would do the same for me to help build each other up in this competitive industry. After all, mentorship is a two-way street.
