Domestic Goddess by Deborah Schneider
Right, so when I choose a book to read, I don’t pay attention to the back cover so I don’t necessarily know what the book is going to be about and this was the case with Domestic Goddess. I knew that it’s a romance novel but that was pretty much it. So when I read the first chapter with Bailey’s fiancé announcing his/her desire to rather be a woman I was surprised.
After that, I wasn’t sure what to expect from the book so it took me awhile to get through to the good bits in the book. Mainly Max, and Bailey and Max’s relationship. And after that, I couldn’t put the book down.
I loved the characters, especially Max and Bailey and I love that Max has a daughter and I loved the relationship he has with his daughter.
It also made me sad and a bit desperate when there was the huge fight between Max and Bailey and I absolutely loved the ending!
All in all, this book was absolutely brilliant!
