Salem, a humanoid plant, is really passive, often to a fault doing anything she’s told out of a fear of being disliked. Because of this, she’s manipulated easily, as she was by her parents. Despite everything, Salem always tries to stay optimistic.
As a teen, Salem grew tired of doing her parent’s selfish bidding and ran away from home, starting her own little garden to escape from the world. During this time alone, Salem realized she was losing track of hours at a time in her day. After asking one of her close friends to follow her around secretly one day, it was discovered that Salem had an alter-personality that loves partying, causing mayhem and is overall the complete opposite of Salem herself.
She has not yet found a way to deal with that wild side of hers, refusing to believe that she could harbor such a persona inside of her. Salem hopes that living a life with someone other than herself will be enough to help control her alter-ego by keeping her occupied and having someone to rely on.

•She loves physical affection and body contact
•Always humming something (she doesn’t know how to whistle and gets frustrated when she tries)
•Salem is very playful and loves creating and playing all sorts of silly games (She especially loves playing the “I spy with my little eye” game)
•Giggles at even the cheesiest and lamest of jokes
•LOVES having her hair and sprout played with but it makes her really sleepy
