i am once again consuming bachelor nation content and im about to make it everyones problem

i love abigail. i really really do. but a part of me doesnt want her to be the bachelorette because i do not trust abc and production to give her the season she would deserve

The Bachelor is truly one of the trashiest modern tv franchises and is ultimately perpetually unsuccessful because it tries to commodify human emotions and love within a two to three month period but god fucking damn it do I follow it voraciously each and every week

its a monday so here are my Thoughts:

1. zach is SO REAL for having a museum date

2. while i did like bailey from episode one i also also rlly love that zach was up front with her and sent her home instead of giving her a pity rose. i feel like a lot of the time when contestants go up to the bachelor/bachelorette and say that they arent sure about their connection the bachelor/bachelorette gives them a rose out of pity and/or fear of losing something, so it was refreshing to see zach be upfront and be like “yeah idk if its there for us” instead of dragging her on for two more weeks

3. charity deserves the entire world and also i love her

4. brooklyn is a fire cracker and she honestly peaked this ep. “have you ever considered literally shutting the fuck up” QUEEN

5. loving the start of the villain christina arc, she feels like an old school villain and i appreciate that (compared to the queen victorias/shanaes of recent seasons past)

6. aly also seems super sweet and i love her vibe however. the private concerts at the ends of dates are NEVER not cringe

7. there were multiple ads about the poop boxes tho :/

8. zach is going for BLOOD with brianna. “talking to you doesnt feel natural” BRO

9. brianna self eliminating :/// i really liked her at first but it also felt SO fast and out of place. also good on her for calling christina the fuck out

10. christina is giving me victoria fuller vibes during this conversation

11. every episode ending on a rose ceremony is chefs kiss. the writing was on the wall for christina thi and like it honestly doesnt surprise me that this was it for her. it will be interesting to see who will step up into the villain role now since we still have quite a few more weeks left

I’m truly happy that Colton Underwood has discovered who he is and that he’s now living as his most authentic self but like. him coming out still does not excuse or absolve him of the fact that he stalked and abused Cassie
