everyone is sick of reading everyone else's list of personal problems at the top of their blogs, we've been over all the reasons why this is a bad idea both interpersonally and as an online safety thing, however i think it should also be mentioned that just showing me the big list of what's wrong with you first thing when i click on your blog counts as spoilers and ruins the narrative tension. i clicked on your blog to find out over time, through a series of mysterious flashbacks and delightful subtextual nods, what's wrong with you. youre taking all the fun out of it
Absolutely baffled by the number of takes on Our Wives Under the Sea that boil down to "Miri didn't love Leah enough." Leah was the only person alive Miri did love; Miri is torn apart with grief this entire book, she is a woman imploding in on herself and while she doesn't always know how to deal with the terrifying and strange ways Leah is changing she is desperate to stay close to her, to find some way to undo what was done. The entire climax of the book is that Miri loves Leah enough to let her go. She loves Leah enough to understand that Leah is suffering, that what they had before cannot be recaptured, and the only way that can end is to put her somewhere out of Miri's reach, and in this heart-wrenching moment of catharsis, Miri herself delivers her loved one to this place she cannot follow, because she knows that is the only place Leah might find peace.
i like making book covers :^)
"Passingly, I think that this might always have been inevitable, that perhaps she had always known it but had wanted to hold on for me, for as long as she could."

our wives under the sea was very very good. i am glad i did not read it in may bc miris final chapter might have killed me
if i had read this right after Athena passed I would have unironically killed myself

to help OP out for each day it is healing I will invent a new minion hybrid.

that's okay. you dont need to do that actually
"Peggle make phone calls" has become shorthand for "fuck it, whatever" for me but no one ever knows what im talkingabout and it's also longer (longhand?)

Just a casual reminder that posting on the internet about how you would want to do physical harm to members of the US government is something that they can (and will) detain you over, so just be careful what you say in public spaces like, uh, on Tumblr.
I have got bad news for you about how connecting to the internet works and how corporations will respond to requests from the government.
this is your semi-regular reminder that tumblr has cooperated with the fbi to hand over user information in a very public way at least once. and that's not the only way the feds can collect information on you either
the feds even have the capability to track down people through the Tor network. it's something that requires intention and effort to do, but it is absolutely within their capabilities. if you think there's anyway you can mask your identity on the public internet from a targeted search, you're woefully mistaken.
