Save our BBC have just completed submissions to the House of Lords Communications Committee and the House of Commons Department of Culture, Media and Sport in response to the proposed changes to the BBC's structure and funding. We'd love to share them now, but we have to follow parliamentary protocol - we'll let you know as soon as we can.

Tony Hall on the BBC's Future

BBC Director-General, Tony Hall, has set out the future vision of the BBC to become more open and more distinctive than ever before. In his speech at the Science Museum, Tony Hall set out the positive case for the BBC and how its services can adapt and change to meet future audiences demands. The proposals will not create a bigger BBC, but will create a better, more distinctive one. The full proposals can be found here, and you can watch a film outlining the new approach here.
