The 1986 So-Soft ponies are a huge set (compared to most ponies that had sets of 6 around this time), but it was split into two waves.
My guess is the left-hand ponies were sold in Quarter 1 and 2 (January to June) and the right-hand set were Quarters 3 and 4. The MLP movie came out on June 6, 1986, and after that was over they wouldn't need the movie advertisement that is covering Heart Throb.
Interesting that all the rereleased ponies like Gusty and Posey are in the first set. Also, none of the "add-on" ponies appeared in the MLP 'n Friends cartoon. (But some of their babies did: Baby Fifi and Baby Bouncy.)

This is Tink-A-Tink-A-Too’s backcard. Her traits are making her friends smile with little gifts, which is a nice if generic pony personality.
But in other official material she’s described as a genius inventor who builds machines and contraptions to help the other ponies.
Confusing why this isn’t mentioned on her backcard; I’m pretty sure the inventor angle did come from Hasbro, because I’ve seen it in books / comics from both the US and the UK.
Anyway, I just wanted people to know that about Tink-a-Tink-a-Too because I think it’s cool. :) It actually makes me like her name for the first time ever, since it’s both a play on “tinkering” and onomatopoeia of the sound of a hammer hitting metal (tink tink tink).
The Twinkle Eye pony backcard is my absolute favorite and Basic Fun did an amazing job recreating it!
