Not the best video but was inspired to share a personal favorite after chatting with @meaghan.flagg this morning. Also, a good video to honor the start to our trip to @jacksonhole resort where there is some EPIC snow. # I like to call these step up negatives or drop down step ups. (I made this name up FYI). The purpose is to train for backcountry skiing and hiking. # How? 1. Stand on the box with your heel of one foot at the edge of the box 2. Slowly lower the opposite leg down the back side of the box until you almost touch the floor or until you tap the floor (try not to put weight on that opposite foot) 3. Pause for one moment 4. Press through your standing leg, through your heel, and explode up to stand 5. Repeat until your quads are fiery AF. # P.s. notice the difference btw my two sides. Almost didnt post the right leg but wanted to show two things. 1. I'm human and can't perform ever exercise perfectly. 2. Girls gotta work- keeping myself accountable to work on my R leg strength as I've had a hip injury here for a little while. # Give them a whirl friends, let me know what you think. #kmholistichealth #livegoodfeelgood #backcountrytraining (at Boston, Massachusetts) https://www.instagram.com/p/BuYt6G1gZ5y/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1tkcn8ikmmimm
