BREAKFAST SITUATION 🥐🍳 // Our Saturday breakfast at Cherry & Grapes, West Perth. Menu on @perthfoodmenu Featuring Backdoor Backhouse’s Twice-baked coconut ube (aud8.50), Blueberry & Earl Grey (aud8.50), Taro with crisps (aud8.50), Durian (aud10.50) croissants and Cherry & Grape’s breakfast special: twisted eggs bene with asparagus, brioche bun, smoked ham, baby spinach, miso infused Hollandaise, poached eggs and Furikake (Jap dried spicy cod roe) - aud26. Twice-baked coconut ube croissant was my favourite as it was the flakiest and I loved the fragrance of the coconut combined with ube. Durian croissant was creamy and another favourite. The blueberry and earl grey smelt super strongly of earl grey and personally, I found it too perfume-y for my liking. Our least favourite was the taro croissant as save for the crispy taro crisps, it was rather bland. Breakfast special was good with two perfectly poached eggs. At $26, it was one of the more expensive Eggs Benedict I’ve ever eaten. #cherryandgrapes #backdoorbakehouse #westperth #breakfast #brunch #croissant #eggsbenedict #perthfoodreview (at Cherry and Grapes) https://www.instagram.com/p/B24X0PhjPkT/?igshid=1scj8dnpwyvwr
