hes blue for an amazing reason
#my art#alliacea#the way assimilation works is you tend to settle in to your general features pretty quickly and its a continuous change#everyday youre 5% more blue#then after that you just pick up more and more bits and bobs as events happen like horns/tail/fins etc#i kind of wanted to do this in the style of that reverse bimbofication meme but i dont think anyone wouldve found that funny but me#background lore:#pacifics instigating event is he loses his mind and flips a table/throws things at his sibling's engagement+5 year sobriety party#by year 3 hes doing better but still got a lot going on. hes trying to keep it together and keep pace with his friends#but he cant save them from assimilating completely at which point he gets worse again#after awhile he finds a new group but is even more of a mess so hes their resident 'crisis friend'#and as a result of his constant mental health support needs it even drives one of them specifically to assimilate#he gets real weird after that and spends 6 years picking a random direction and just walking/swimming continuously until he respawned#this is when he confuses the resort bc it tries to make him better but then he gets worse instead#so he stops picking up new features around this time and the balkhash appears#and then you get his current version whos just waiting around to watch everyone around him depersonalize while hes stuck in place
