#ive talked about this before but whats even weirder to me is when theyre famous but do nothing #like theres the generic case of people with millions of followers who do ??? nothing ?#like they dont do storytimes they dont do comedy they dont do infotainment they dont do interviews they dont do travel vlogs #you watch their videos and theyre like 2 minutes long but they make no statements or give any information #and the more niche example are the 'pro cosplayers' and pro artists who dont have a single image of their work available #its just pages and pages of unboxing content but still somehow they get sponsorships and con guesting positions out the wazoo

I have! I cant say its my favorite album of theirs but i think it does a crazy good job of blending their vibe from the good news for people who love bad news/we were dead before the ship even sank and their more recent stuff.

#i know i am the designated modest mouse man and at certain points #according to spotify theres only ONE other person on there who listens to modest mouse more than me #but im actually pretty picky/hit or miss on a song-by-song basis #as a whole i was really eh on their other recent album the golden casket BUT #i adore leave a light on and listen to it constantly
