"Sentado en esta grada San Ignacio de Loyola." I was ecstatic to have touched something St. Ignatius had laid his hands on. It was my first time in Europe and was overwhelmed not only by the beauty of the cities and the architecture, but also of the significance in history of each structure or building I visited. I was so young, so full of hope and promise. I constantly asked the Lord to teach me to be generous, to teach me to serve Him as He deserved; to give and not to count the cost, to fight and not to heed the wounds, to toil and not to seek for rest, to labor and not to ask for reward save that of knowing I was doing His Will. I am not that wide-eyed girl anymore (who liked to burn her skin to a crisp and blow dry her hair!), but that prayer—that request—remains constant. #takemebacktuesday #journalofalockdown #letsstayhome #BackInBarcelona #Barcelona #downmemorylane (at Santa Maria del Mar, Barcelona) https://www.instagram.com/p/CXvTaXkPfuR/?utm_medium=tumblr
