Revisiting an old sample collection technique. Air sampling for flying debris. One night this week I put an SEM stub with a double sided carbon sticky tab and went out for a bike ride to see what is floating around and what might stick to the stub. The pollen diversity was pretty low at first glance, but there was some, mostly pine like this one. Images were collected on a @thermosciemspec Apreo VS in Optiplan mode, color mixed from a combination of the three in-lens Trinity detectors.
