In honor of Maluku’s 1 year anniversary, here’s an update on what all 22 contestants are up to. 

Danny: He’s still working on eating that rock. It’s really hard. Mandy: She time traveled and won season 2 Nolan: His legacy lives on because “Oh shirt” is now a common saying Foxx: Is now starring in an animated Disney film Jessy: Has finally expanded her vocabulary Luke: He has not harmed anymore innocent shirts Austin: He played again and was voted out while he was in the bath, slight improvement from when he was eating ice cream Elizabeth: We still can’t find her Jessie: Finally made merge Katelyn: Faked a relationship with Scott to get on Newfoundland Trace: Has become a meme Joe: He played Adversaries and hosted Bonin and used his earning to start a pink lemonade company and is still suffering from the pepper in his eye MJ: He became royal and as a result won a season Matt: Is no longer Chaos Matt, he’s Mattica Mary: The blue hair dye is spreading and she is now blue da ba de da ba (hair) dye Scott: Faked a relationship with Katelyn to get on Newfoundland Phil: Is still drunk... Lindsey: Her and her dad are now partner’s in crime Molly: Drowned in chocolate milk Maria: Has finally learnt how not to talk to the jury Kristie: Has finally revealed her true whereabouts JaeMin: Is using his well earned bragging rights to meet guys

Trace: I don’t know you at all, and I really never needed to take the time to know you. Why would I waste my time when you wouldn’t have made it to the end anyway? Joe: Although we were allied, you were ridiculous and made yourself out to be a complete joke this season. I was embarrassed to be aligned with you. MJ: You were definitely a #fake and probably one of the people the most full of themselves I’ve ever met. Matt: I don’t know you at all and I don’t even know what you did this game. At least you tried to play, unlike a lot of people, though. Mary: I find the obsession with you bizarre, and when I saw that you were cast for Galapagos I was very confused and figured someone must’ve dropped out last minute. Apparently you were a “strategic threat?” Scott: You kept going back and forth between people, but when you dedicated your loyalty to me I was thrilled to have someone willing to do whatever I’d suggest. Phil: Definitely an overrated strategist, your game literally fell apart because you got way too messy and careless… and confident, and full of yourself. Lindsey: You were pretty much just used by MJ and Mary for a vote. I expected you to see you were on the bottom of the alliance, but I guess you still haven’t. Molly: Your “sassiness” is horrible, and it’s the only thing you think could make you original though everyone else in the game talks exactly the same.

Tumblr Survivor Day! This game made more of a difference in the life of this sad old grandma than it looks - the community is the most accepting and welcoming group of people I’ve ever come across, and on social media of all places.. I learned a lot about myself on the little island of Maluku - from the dungeon of my heart, I honestly love almost every one of my tribemates (but the top 3 know who they are). I’ll probably never ever make it to another midnight call thanks to my shitty timezone and jet-engine laptop, but I hope y’all don’t forget me and tiptoe over to my ask box every now and then - I’m always here!
